We pulled out of the Payson, Utah Walmart in the morning on Thursday, November 19, 2020, and continued south on I-15....our planned destination was the area of St George, Utah...Partly cloudy skies, light winds and temps in the upper 60's.

An average drive of about 250 miles.  We ended up staying in Washington, Utah....a short distance north of St George. The area is also known as Utah's Dixie because the Mormon pioneers who settled the St. George area came to the area to raise cotton, which was milled at the cotton mill in here.  We stayed at the Southern Utah RV Resort... right on I-15.  It's a new super clean park.  we were told it was full but at the last minute while we were leaving the office the owner came running out an told us a spot just came open!  It was pricey at $67 and noisy due to the nearby interstate, but we were glad to get it.  We wanted to spend some time thinking about our next plan...Continue south on I-15 to Nevada or go southeast into Arizona.  We decided on a new route and some new places so in the morning of the 20th we headed out...Destination Kaibab, Arizona...

Here is a sped up video of parts of that trip...

While searching for a place to stay we came across the Kaibab Paiute Tribal
CampgroundThis place is SUPER quiet and very reasonable at $22.50 per night with the Good Sam discount.  We got a nice spot on the edge....not at all busy here... plenty of open spots!

Our first Arizona sunset of this year!

Temps in the 50s here but breezy....we will stay here awhile!

Until Next Time!
