We didn't do any traveling around our home area of Montana this summer. It seems to get VERY busy at the Montana camping areas, and we have made our own little paradise here at our home!
Watch this VIDEO we made about our little sanctuary in the city....Click the photo of the flower below to see the video!
We did take one day-trip to the mountains near Red Lodge, MT to go to the "Log Store" and get some Lodgepole Pine deadfall to use for some log furniture projects...more on that later!
We also stopped at Cascade Campground, where we got engaged way back in "93"... Site 29! A fun trip! And found some great wood!
We worked on a few log furniture projects...One was quite interesting, Lichtenburg Fractal Burning, where high current electricity is used to burn designs into the wood! Watch this VIDEO we made about our our burning project! Click the photo of the wood below to see the video!
When that project is done it will look something like this!
We used stock cabinets and "modified" them!
We made the mirror from scratch!....
We think the bathroom will turn out kinda cool...Will keep you posted!
We also spent a lot of time upgrading our RV and Tracker Toad... More and better solar, roof vents, and more! Watch this VIDEO we made about our our upgrades! Click the photo of our RV below to see the video!
We also installed Bigfoot 4 point hydraulic levelers on the RV...No more Lego Blocks for leveling!
We installed a new front sway bar to help us stay stable on the highway. Note the difference in size from the stock sway bar!
We already did this conversion to the rear bar a year earlier and were pleased with how much it helped.
Anyway, we are planning to leave Montana this Thursday, November 4th, weather permitting of course! But the forecast is promising!

Until Next Time!
